Marta O’Brien, a seasoned professional in personal trust management, joined Legacy in November 2012. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. Before joining Legacy, Marta accumulated extensive experience working with two large national trust companies in Madison and Appleton. Kay Bahn assists Marta with her client relationships at Legacy. 

A proud resident of the Appleton community, Marta’s local ties run deep. She is a graduate of Xavier High School and continues her engagement with the St. Francis Xavier school system as an avid volunteer, demonstrating her commitment to fostering a vibrant local community.

Marta, along with her family, also enjoys spending summers as a seasonal resident of the Waupaca area, where they often explore the local waterways by boat. While she leaves the water-ski shows to her children, Marta supports their efforts by volunteering for the local ski club. Her passion for outdoor activities and her consistent involvement in community affairs showcases her enthusiasm for her work and personal life. Marta embodies a spirit of dedication and community engagement in every facet of her life.
