Brenton Teeling, an accomplished legal professional and proven leader, joined Legacy in 2016 as the Vice President of Client Services and Administration. Brenton graduated magna cum laude from Loras College with his B.A., and with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law for his J.D. He also holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation. Before joining Legacy, Brenton was a shareholder and civil litigator at the largest law firm in the Fox Valley, garnering nine years of civil litigation experience.
At Legacy, Brenton’s role involves overseeing the client experience and ensuring effective and secure account management through robust internal controls. His sharp eye for detail and adept problem-solving skills, honed through his litigation experience, play a crucial role in achieving positive client outcomes.
When not professionally engaged, Brenton devotes his time to family, sports, and community service. A lover of athletics, he enjoys golf, softball, volleyball, kickball, and cycling. Coming from a lineage of coaches, Brenton also takes pleasure in coaching basketball at St. Mary Catholic High School and the Zephyr Basketball Club, as well as for youth players at the YMCA. As a dedicated community member, Brenton serves on the Board of Directors for United Way Fox Cities, where he is the 2021-23 Emerging Leaders Committee Chair. He also contributes his expertise as a member of the Finance Committees for St. Margaret Mary Parish and North Shore Golf Club. Furthermore, Brenton frequently volunteers for various organizations and special events within his community, reflecting his commitment to service.
